I have not written in a while because my life has been a little chaotic. Sometimes it is difficult to write when things are so out of control. Either way I want to get back to it and since I am not sure what the title to this should be…..Random Thoughts seemed to fit.

Let me tell you a little about me. I am a die hard romantic. I realize that in this day and age that is probably a bad thing to be. Today’s normal is all about relationship hopping and “exploring your options.” Not only do I not understand this, but I don’t find it appealing either. Why is it considered bad to want to spend your life with one person? Why is it wrong to want someone to be crazy about me? I want to be crazy about someone too. I have no issue being “over the moon” for someone that deserves the attention. I want to crave someone’s attention, voice, sight and touch. I wants someone to crave me like that as well. Men: You want to know why women watch romantic movies or read romantic novels? It is because that is what we crave. Even the most proper women and the sluttiest want romance. It is so rare these days that a woman has to read it in books or watch it on the screen. What is worse is that men do not seem to think it is a big enough deal to consider. Why is that? A happy woman is much more likely to treat you well than one who is treated like an item or obligation. Yes, I am single right now and I am not ashamed of it. The fact is that I am known for settling for what I can get instead of looking for the right person. I’ve been single for about 2 years because I finally realized that I am only hurting myself by not looking for what I want. I want to spoil a man and make him feel like the best one on the planet, but I deserve the same in return. I am at the point where I am losing hope, but I am still holding on. This might be TMI for some readers, but I don’t want anyone to settle anymore. That should not be the norm. That should not be what we go for. Ask for what you want. Look for what you deserve. Give all of who you are and ask for the same in return! There are so many people on this planet, don’t subject yourself to the wrong ones just because you haven’t met the right one yet!
